Artist's Comments

A sketch I'd been working on for a couple weeks, 11"x14" paper (so I had to scan it a few times to get the whole image). She's not supposed to be Hindu, she's just a muse bearing a bunch of symbols for things I'm interested in and/or think are important. I'm going to upload the colored version in just a second...but I think I prefer it as a sketch.

mmmmm....they're both good!

i agree with what stefunny said about the detail though, you can definately see more of it in the sketch than in the colored version.

but the colors you picked were so pritty! ahhh. *torn*

hmmmmm..... i think i might like the sketch better ... but that's me, i'm always pro-monochromeness. i think her tattoos/markings work a little better in this pencil version. this shouldn't even be called a sketch, excuse me. this is finished. definitely.

Very cool drawing, nice arm poses. I like the different tattoos on each pair, and the depth you've given them. Really cool idea for a muse... maybe she can be my muse too.:) (Smile) Now to find the colored one...

If you like my avatar, this is the full-size version.

the colored version is excellent, but for some reason i think i like this one better too :) (Smile)

very nice ... it looks an awful lot like a certain buddhist deity ... did you draw this from imagination or from a rememberance of the buddhist deity ... either way very very detailed and great work ... have a check at me art
